I have an old(er) Latitude 5404 Rugged Laptop, which takes this 97Wh Battery as an upgraded Power option. When I First purchased the machine, the 97Wh Battery that came with It lasted over 8 hours of full-power runtime. After 3 years of daily use, my Battery had slowly come down in its runtime (as expected) and was starting to show its age, lasting only about 3 or 4 hours at most.
I decided to purchase the Battery in this listing as a replacement. at first, the runtime on this new Battery seemed to be only slightly less, at about 6 or so hours. But within 6 months, the runtime was already down to about 3 hours. at 12 months, I was all the way down to about 90 minutes max. I've decided to only purchase Dell parts from the Dell website from now on as the lifespan of this Battery was about 1/3 that of the one I got from Dell directly.
